Monday Maintenance Madness: Resetting After the Holidays and Sailing into What’s Next

The holidays have a way of turning even the calmest routines upside down.

Decorations come down, trees get packed away, schedules finally slow, and homes start to feel like themselves again. After weeks of movement, noise, guests, and rushing from one thing to the next, there’s a collective exhale.

The holiday rush is over.

Now it’s time to reset — and to look ahead.

At Paisley’s Posh Paws, the days after the holidays are about maintenance, renewal, and setting the tone for smoother sailing. Just like we do in our homes, this is the time to clean thoroughly, reset systems, and bring everything back into balance. It’s also the moment where exciting changes begin to take shape.

Clearing Space for Growth

Taking down decorations and tidying our spaces isn’t just about appearance. It’s about restoring flow and making room for what’s next. Dogs feel this shift too. When environments become calmer and more predictable, they settle more easily.

This reset season brings some wonderful changes for us.

We’re incredibly excited to share that we are now able to offer full-time grooming seven days a week. With that growth comes an expansion of our grooming team. Alongside our original groomer, Amy, who has been absolutely amazing and instrumental in helping us build our clientele from the very beginning, we are welcoming two new, educated, experienced groomers to the Paisley’s Posh Paws family.

We are deeply grateful to Amy for sticking with us through the early building stages and helping shape the calm, thoughtful grooming experience we’re known for. We’re equally thankful for our two new groomers, who are excited to grow with us and continue that same level of care.

Momentum After the Reset

Maintenance brings momentum.

As we head into this next chapter, we’re seeing full grooming schedules, welcoming new dogs into our luxury suites, and expanding our spa services with the support of our dedicated spa technicians. Each step forward has been built carefully, with intention, and always with the dog’s experience at the center.

Growth here has never been about doing more for the sake of doing more. It’s about doing things well, consistently, and with heart.

We are endlessly grateful to the families who have trusted us, supported us, and believed in our mission to create a space where dogs feel safe, relaxed, and understood. Especially for our more nervous, fearful, or sensitive friends, teaching relaxation and building trust is not something we take lightly.

Watching those dogs soften, settle, and begin to feel comfortable is the reason we do what we do.
