Mondays are our reset days.
While the week begins to move again, Monday at Paisley’s Posh Paws is about maintenance, preparation, and care that often goes unseen, but is felt by every dog who walks through our doors.
Luxury dog care is built on details. Not just how things look, but how they are maintained, how they are cleaned, and how thoughtfully the environment is cared for between each visit.
Maintenance Is Part of Care
True care goes beyond tidying up. It means maintaining the space, tools, and systems that keep dogs safe, comfortable, and supported.
Our maintenance routine includes thorough cleaning and disinfection of grooming areas, boarding suites, beds, bowls, floors, and all high-touch surfaces. Just as importantly, all grooming tools are fully sanitized after each individual dog, not just at the end of the day. Every dog begins their experience with a clean slate.
Caring for the Systems Dogs Rely On
Maintenance doesn’t stop at floors and tools. It also includes the systems dogs interact with most closely.
Our bathing systems, tubs, and shampoo bottles are carefully disinfected and cleaned to prevent buildup, residue, or cross-contact between dogs. Bathing equipment is rinsed, sanitized, and reset regularly, and the tub itself is cleaned and polished back to a fresh, welcoming state.
A clean tub isn’t just about appearance. It supports skin health, helps prevent irritation, and creates a calmer experience from the moment a dog steps in. Even shampoo bottles are wiped down and maintained, because every detail matters.
These quiet steps help ensure every dog receives the same high standard of care, whether they are the first appointment of the day or the last.
Why Sanitation Is Part of Luxury
Luxury dog care is often misunderstood as something visual. In reality, it’s the standards behind the scenes that make the difference.
Fresh, sanitized bedding.Clean air and calm scents.Disinfected tools between every dog.Reset bathing systems and polished tubs.
Dogs experience their environment through scent, touch, and routine. A clean, well-maintained space helps dogs relax, settle more easily, and feel secure. This is especially important for senior dogs, anxious dogs, and dogs with sensitive skin.
Maintenance Sets the Tone for the Week
Monday Maintenance Madness isn’t chaotic. It’s intentional.
By resetting the space properly at the start of the week, we create a calmer rhythm for grooming, boarding, and day stays. When the environment is clean, organized, and predictable, care flows more smoothly. Grooming feels calmer. Boarding feels safer. Trust builds naturally.
Much of what defines quality dog care happens quietly, before the first dog arrives and after the last one leaves.
Because luxury care isn’t about extras. It’s about standards.
And those standards start with maintenance.
With care,
Lauren 💜🐾
