St. Patrick’s Day Treats + A Balanced Green Meal


We’re feeling lucky this week at Paisley’s Posh Paws šŸ’šAnd what better way to celebrate than with festive (and healthy!) green-themed goodies?


No artificial dyes. No sugary human junk. Just whole, functional ingredients.


šŸ½ļø The ā€œLucky Leprechaunā€ Balanced Bowl

A Complete Homemade St. Patrick’s Day Meal

4 Ingredients (approx. 25–30 lb dog serving — adjust as needed)


Protein (40–50%)

  • 1 cup cooked lean ground turkey

Carbohydrate (20–30%)

  • ½ cup cooked quinoa or brown rice

Vegetables (20–30%)

  • ¼ cup steamed green beans

  • 2 tbsp steamed spinach (finely chopped)

  • 2 tbsp peas

Healthy Fats

  • 1 tsp sardine oil or fish oil

Calcium Source (important!)

  • ½ tsp finely ground eggshell powderOR use a veterinary-approved calcium supplement


Instructions:

  1. Lightly cook turkey (no seasoning).

  2. Steam veggies until soft.

  3. Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.

  4. Let cool before serving.
